What a crazy. busy week! I’m literally throwing this post together in the hour window I have while my youngest is at Rainbows. That pretty much sums up the last few days, don’t get me wrong it’s all been good stuff but oh boy, I need a lie down!
Here we go then, are you ready for some positivity? Grab a cuppa and enjoy my Little Loves, don’t forget you can read lots of other bloggers’ Little Loves by clicking on the linky at the end.
As I mentioned earlier I haven not stopped all week and I’ve not even had a moment to pick up a book let alone properly read one! I’m behind on reading last week’s Little Loves even – don’t worry I’ll catch up. As for my usual blog reading I’ve managed to squeeze in a few when eating lunch, and these are ones I’ve particularly enjoyed.
I loved this post, it was so good to read about a fashion blogger talk about old and new clothes. Far too often all we see on Instagram is brand new clothes and outfits, it’s lovely but not attainable for most of us. It’s a good reminder about finding your signature style and mixing and matching new and old.
I love Emma, she always makes me laugh whether it’s watching a vlog or seeing her pop up on Instagram. This post made me giggle and nod vehemently in agreement! Go, have a read.
Emma put on the most beautiful event that I stalked via Instagram the other day. She’s shared about the day and put up a ton of gorgeous photos. You’ll you were there, I know I do!
I mentioned last week that I’d got tickets to see La La Land with a live orchestra and oh boy was I excited. I can hand on heart say it did not disappoint and is up there with some of the best moments of my life. No joke. It was so beautiful and I fell in love with the film all over again.
Netflix wise we’ve just started The Good Place, starring Ted Danson and Kristen Bell. It’s rather ‘out there’ and a bit Kimmy Schmidt like – without the singing and I didn’t think it would be my husband’s thing but he loves it. It’s so hard to keep it as our thing and not watch it without each other!
You might have noticed on my Insta that I made crumble at the weekend, well I say I, it was actually mostly made by my eldest girl. She followed the recipe in the Vegan cook book by Lucy Watson (yep, off off Made in Chelsea) and it was delicious, of course I ate far too much of it! I have no self control when it comes to crumble or pie.
It’s all about the cosy knits for me this week, you know I love Autumn.
I may not have read a lot this week but I have been listening to a whole lot of podcasts, here are some favourites-
I’m actually obsessed with this podcast and have been delving deep into the back catalogue and found this beauty. You know when you find your tribe? That.
Another good one – Tara Swiger – Are you Limiting yourself – listen here
and of course Hashtag Authentic and Courage and Spice, both great and inspiring as ever.
Music wise it has been all about the Foo Fighter’s newest album. We are obsessed.
I want to take this little space to give a huge heart felt thank you to so many bloggers that gave my shop, Little and Fierce, a shout out this week. I mentioned in a Facebook group that I’ve been finding it hard to compete with the highstreet and that I’ve been feeling rather demoralised. I was blown away by people’s responses, so many took time out of their day to tweet, share an Instagram Story, blog and so much more.
Here’s a discount code that runs until the end of the month, happy shopping!
If you’re on Instagram and want to join in with the Little Loves community on there, it’s so easy just use the hashtag #littleloves on any photo that shows something little that you love – so that can be pretty much anything! I’ll share my favourites on Stories each Friday.
Fancy joining in?

Don’t forget to show some love to the fellow bloggers sharing the little things that they’ve loved this week, by having a read and commenting on their posts too – especially if you’ve linked up a post. Be sure to use the hashtag #littleloves if you’re on twitter so we can all keep an eye out for the posts and promote each others.
