The first #LittleLoves of 2015

The first #LittleLoves of 2015

Happy New Year everyone!

As I mentioned in my last Love the Little Things post I’m slightly tweaking the linky so that now it’s just #LittleLoves. As long as you pop that in your header you can make the title say whatever you like, ie it doesn’t have to be Love the Little Things, number …. anymore. I’m keeping the same headings, I did think about changing them but in the end I genuinely couldn’t be bothered!

So here we go with the first #littleloves of 2015…

I have a massive list of books that I want to read this year and I was lucky enough to get a couple of them for Christmas including this one, Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes. It is in my opinion the definitive beauty guide, so many useful tips, hints and recommendations.

Rather surprisingly we haven’t watched much over Christmas really. Obviously we saw Downton Abbey and far too many kids Christmas films! We did enjoy the Boy in a Dress and we’ve popped to the cinema a couple of times to see Night at the Museum 3 and Tinkerbell and the Neverbeast.

I have lived in my jamas so much over the past couple of weeks, one of my favourite things about this time of year that’s for sure! We got the parties done before the Christmas hols which meant my high heels have stayed firmly in the shoe cupboard in favour of my cosy slippers. I’m sure you don’t need a photo to prove that fact!

Noo is now a MASSIVE fan of 1D and has been trying her hardest to win over everyone. I must admit, I can’t help singing along to this one..!

Christmas Dinner!

Thankfully I managed to pull off Christmas Dinner for my family as well as Jenny’s! Jenny brought with her so many treats (including plenty of G&T for me!) as well as a ham and mashed potatoes to go with our main.

and lastly..

I’m really enjoying this time off, just chilling out and spending time with our family and friends. It’s been a much needed break from work and from blogging and I feel a lot more ready to face it all when I start back on Monday. Here’s a few pictures from the Festive period.

Happy New Year!

I know that a few of my regular bloggers that link up are still on their festive break, but as with last year the linky will stay open until Thursday so there’s plenty of time to get your post up and linked.

Fancy joining in?

Just copy the headings and use them as prompts in a blog post then link up below and let me know!

** Please only link up if you’ve posted in this format, there are plenty of lovely more generic linkys to join in with if your post doesn’t fit this one.**

Don’t forget to show some love to the fellow bloggers sharing the little things that they’ve loved this week too. Be sure to use the hashtag #littleloves if you’re on twitter so we can all keep an eye out for the posts.

Here’s my badge if you fancy popping it on your post:

Looks like you had such a lovely Christmas, and I’ve loved the break too. A break from anything work related and most things blog related too, although I’n not entirely sure I’m ready for going back on Monday.
I love the One Direction song too, most of their stuff is so catchy I end up singing it for days. Happy New Year Morgana xxx

Lovely photos Morgana and Happy New Year to you and your lovely family. I am so impressed you made Christmas dinner and it must be lovely to have had Jenny and her family over. I must admit I am a secret 1D fan, Mads loves them and got lots of bits and bobs for Christmas including the annual which I have been reading. 😉 Can’t wait to read your Little Loves each week in 2015. x
